About Child Sponsorship

Child sponsorship through Grace in Kenya is an opportunity to serve those with the greatest need. Many Kenyan children struggle to survive. They may have been orphaned with no means of support – left homeless and living in the streets, mistreated or shunned by those around them because of their circumstances, diagnosed with diseases, or have sick parents who are unable to work or care for them. Regardless of circumstance, the future for these children appears bleak and hopeless.

It says in the book of James that true religion is shown by “caring for orphans and widows in their distress.” For the godly and generous that meet these needs comes a promise – “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.”

What Does My Sponsorship Provide?

By sponsoring a child through Grace in Kenya and the House of Hope, you give that child hope and a future. God will use you to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs of a child who would otherwise not have access to these resources.

Your monthly gift of $45 (Early Childhood - 8th Grade) or $65 (9th grade and older) will provide your sponsored child with:

  • Hope for a bright future
  • Food
  • Clothing
  • Socks and Shoes
  • Biblical teaching and counseling
  • School tuition and fees
  • Medical Care
  • Personal hygiene
  • School Uniform
  • Mattress and Blanket
  • Social Worker to oversee care of the child
